What the app is, what it is not, and what you agree to by using it.

Acceptance of Terms
By using the ImmigraMate app or website, or by creating an account, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use ImmigraMate.
Description of Service
ImmigraMate, developed by Trovyn Tech LLC, helps you track USCIS immigration case statuses, keep case-related records, read about immigration processes, and compare notes with other people going through them. It queries the official USCIS Case Status API on your behalf through our backend service. It is available as a mobile app and as a website. Some features require an account; the case lookup on the website does not. ImmigraMate is offered in two tiers: • Free — case tracking, the community board, saved records, guides and tools. The mobile app shows banner advertisements; the website does not. • ImmigraMate Plus (paid) — removes advertising and adds server-side case tracking, Visa Bulletin priority-date alerts, case insights, unlimited case tracking, and unlimited manual refresh (the free tier's manual refresh is rate-limited).
Accounts
You need an account to track cases, use the community board, save records, or subscribe to ImmigraMate Plus. • You must provide a valid email address, and you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. • One person, one account. Do not share an account or let someone else use yours. • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so. You can close your account at any time — see "Closing Your Account and Deleting Data".
Not Legal Advice
ImmigraMate is an informational tool. Nothing in the app, on the website, or in the community board is legal advice, and none of it is a substitute for professional legal counsel. Always consult a qualified immigration attorney about your own case. This applies to the letter and response templates as well. They are starting points to adapt, not documents to file unchanged.
No Government Affiliation
ImmigraMate is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of State, or any other government agency.
Accuracy of Information
We work to keep the information accurate, but we make no warranty about the completeness, reliability or accuracy of case status data, processing times, Visa Bulletin information, fees, or any other content. USCIS and the Department of State are the authoritative sources. Case status is reported as USCIS reports it. When we cannot reach USCIS, we show the most recent answer we have and label it as such. Case insights are statistical summaries of past cases. They describe what has happened to other people; they do not predict your case.
Community Board Rules
The community board only works if people can post honestly without being mistreated. By posting, you agree: • Not to post other people's personal information — receipt numbers, addresses, full names, or anything else that could identify someone who has not chosen to identify themselves. • Not to harass, threaten, or abuse anyone, and not to post hateful content directed at any group. • Not to give legal advice as though you were qualified to, and not to hold yourself out as an attorney or accredited representative unless you are one. • Not to advertise, spam, or solicit business, including immigration services. • Not to post anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to post. You keep ownership of what you write, and grant us the licence needed to display it on the board and in search. You are responsible for your own posts. We may hide or remove content that breaks these rules, and may suspend accounts that do so repeatedly. You can report content, and you can block an account so you no longer see it. Posts are written by other users, not by us. Timelines vary enormously between cases, and someone else's dates tell you very little about yours.
ImmigraMate Plus Subscriptions
ImmigraMate Plus is offered as a recurring subscription (monthly or annual, auto-renewing) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Pricing is shown at the time of purchase and may vary by region. • Auto-renewing subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. On Apple and Google, cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. • Cancel through the App Store, Google Play, or the account page on the website — whichever you subscribed through. • Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues to the end of the paid period. • The lifetime purchase is non-recurring and remains active for the lifetime of the product, subject to the platform's terms. Refunds for purchases made in the mobile app are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot process those directly. For purchases made on the website, contact us. Free trials and promotional offers are governed by their stated terms at the time of the offer.
Advertising
Free-tier users of the mobile app see banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. Ads are contextual, not personalised — we do not use the device advertising identifier for targeting. The website carries no advertising. ImmigraMate Plus subscribers see no advertising anywhere.
Affiliate Links
ImmigraMate contains affiliate links to third-party legal and financial services. These are routed through an affiliate tracking provider so referrals can be attributed. When you follow an affiliate link you leave ImmigraMate for a service operated by an independent third party, and Trovyn Tech LLC may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase there, at no additional cost to you. Their terms and privacy policy then govern your use of their service. We do not operate, control or endorse these services and are not responsible for their content, pricing, advice or practices. None of them is your attorney, and nothing they provide through us is legal advice. Commission does not change what we recommend or what we say about them.
Acceptable Use
Do not use ImmigraMate to look up cases that are not yours or that you have not been asked to help with. Do not attempt to scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or circumvent rate limits on the service or on USCIS, and do not use it to build a competing dataset. We may rate-limit, suspend or block use that threatens the service or our access to USCIS.
User Responsibility
You are responsible for verifying anything important through official USCIS channels before acting on it. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and your device secure. Decisions you make based on information from ImmigraMate are yours alone.
Data Ownership
What you enter is yours. We claim no ownership of your case information, notes, saved records or posts. You can export or delete them, and closing your account removes them — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed and what is retained.
No Data Sales
We do not sell, rent, license or trade your data. We have never sold user data and will not. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Closing Your Account and Deleting Data
You can delete individual cases, posts, comments and saved records yourself at any time. To close your account entirely, use Delete account on the account page, in the app or on this website. It takes effect immediately. If you would rather ask us to do it, email contact@trovyntech.com from the address on the account and we will process it within 30 days. Closing your account is separate from cancelling a subscription. Cancel through the App Store, Google Play, or the account page, depending on where you subscribed — closing an account does not by itself stop a subscription billed by Apple or Google.
Service Availability
Case status checks depend on the USCIS Case Status API being available. Server-side tracking and alerts depend on our infrastructure and on our push and email providers. Free-tier on-device notifications depend on your device running the app's background task, which the operating system may delay or limit. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to any feature, and the service may stop working correctly if USCIS or any of our providers change their systems.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trovyn Tech LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, ImmigraMate. This includes missed deadlines, incorrect or delayed case information, missed notifications, missed Visa Bulletin alerts, content posted by other users, and decisions made on the basis of anything shown here.
Transfer of Ownership
If Trovyn Tech LLC undergoes a merger, acquisition or sale, the acquiring entity's terms will provide protections at least equivalent to those described here. We will give notice at least 30 days before any transfer takes effect. If equivalent terms cannot be maintained, you will be able to export your data and close your account before the transition.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. When a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we will: • Notify you by email and in the app • Provide a plain-language summary of what changed • Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page Continuing to use ImmigraMate after such an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
